Coming off of his beef with Meek Mill last year, Drake has found a way to stay at the top of his game amidst his competition sending shots his way via social media and wax. The Canadian pop star has held the number 1 spot on the billboard charts on and off ever since the release of his latest effort "Views", and has had a steady constant of singles playing on the radio and across all music platforms for quite some time.
While it doesn't seem like Drizzy can lose at this point, he may have met his match when it comes to wordplay in veteran emcee Joe Budden. After hearing Drake was sending some shots his way on a snippet to his new single with French Montana, Joe took it upon himself to get the party started by releasing not one, but two diss records before the song was even released. After finally getting the full audio for "No Shoppin", it seems as if Joe was right all along. Budden wasted no time at responding either, with a brand new one he's simply calling "Afraid".
While there is no word if Drake will continue this one, it seems as if Joe definitely has his number for now if we're just talking about bars. We'll keep an eye on things here and update as it moves on. In the meantime, check out how it all went down, in order, below.
